it's been raining all day - cold and overcast - dreary - wet... we've needed rain so very badly, i'm not complaining... i'm certain the earth around here is drinking it up as well - boo! i heard on the weather report - the reason the leaves are changing so early... is due to the drought... huh! had no idea there was any significance between the 2 - but there you go... once again, i'm learning something interesting in my adult years...

one of the things very difficult for me on rain-filled days - is how it bothers my head... i've been trying to fight off the headaches all day - to no avail... i'm sure it has to do partly with the barometric pressure changing - the rest is simply a mystery... however aside from drugs... seeing the bright yellow of this wee flower singing in the rain - as it stood proudly under the weight of raindrops - never faltering - made for...
