A Ceiling and Chandelier

B and I have recently joined the Historic Houses Association (HHA) and Holkham Hall is in the scheme so free to park and free to visit the house and gardens (well…not really free but only £48 per year), there are a number of historic properties around  here which are included in the Association so we’ll make good use of our annual membership.
We walked by the lake to the walled garden, where we saw a hare, B’s photo is much better than mine so I’ve added a link to hers:

We made the most of the day and also visited the church then back through the deer park and then took some photos in the house itself.

I love photographing interiors, especially the detail of beautiful objects, so my main blip is of part of the magnificent ceiling in the grand entrance hall and then a detail of one of the fabulous chandeliers.
