Trillium Lake and Mt Hood

A lovely drive from Hood River towards Trillium Lake, across fruit orchards and national forests. We didn't realise, that the road to the lake was still closed because of the harsh winter 2016/17. Anyway, we decided to walk the last 1.5 miles, partially the road still covered with snow. The effort was more than rewarded. We were almost alone at Lake Trillium, had the wooden deck on the lake for us, our picnic and enjoyed some breathtaking views.


PS: The internet in our hotel is very slow. Uploading is ok, but not downloading. Seems that too many guests are consuming.
