Time for Houblon Vert to go in the Barrel
My first green hopped ale has finished its primary fermentation and tonight got syphoned off into the barrel for conditioning. This shot shows the hydrometer reading a specific gravity of about 1009. This has come down from the original gravity of 1048. Had a sneaky taste and its tasting pretty good. Looking forward to drinking some next week. Not going to have internet access for the next few days so blips will go quiet but I'll still be taking photos and will upload on Monday
