Reflecting on Richness

Today was another two bike loops of the vineyards round Vallet. A fantastic bike ride and much the better for figuring out how their road markings work and where to go!

It was a bit warm in the afternoon but once it had cooled down we went back into Clisson for a walk. This time we went round la Garenne Lemot to look at the art installations in the gardens. When the house was built a bunch of neoclassical follies were built in the garden. More recently modern art has installed - some of it is a but silly but some of it is quite interesting.

This blip is a photo of a "temple" built on top of the hill looking down to the river, but it's taken by photographing through a one-way mirror angled such that you can see the temple behind you. As it's quite a large mirror and as I used a wide angle lens (so it would be fast enough to take a decent picture) you get to see me too!
