What a day.

We set out early and made the short flight to Westray and then the short hop to Papa Westray - the shortest scheduled air service in the world. Timed it at 2 minutes and 5 seconds.
We then had a great tour with an excellent guide which included a lovely lunch.
Returned to Kirkwall late afternoon and after fish and chip tea we headed off to Burray Hall for the first session in the Orkney folk festival. Superb.
