AbstractThursday100 Joy and Celebration

Today marks the 100th week of AbstractThursday, a wonderful  challenge first created and hosted by Youoregon1 and now hosted by Ingeborg.

A theme of celebration and or joy has been suggested by her for this week's anniversary challenge and I have veered towards the 'Joy' side.  Pictured here is the joyous Violet walking in our garden: two things which always bring me great pleasure.


 I can't finish my post without mentioning the horrible events in Manchester on Monday. Joy has vanished for the victims and their families and it is hard to feel in a celebratory mood just now.  Sadly such atrocities continue  throughout the world, innocent children so often the victims, young lives snuffed out before they've barely begun..
