A Thatched Cottage by the sea

Just to the west of Ventnor is Steephill Cove, where we stayed on holiday many times in the late 50s and early 60s. This old cottage was one of the houses we rented.

The cove has changed a lot since then, but I well remember the long series of steps down to the cove from the car park above, up and down which luggage had, and still has, to be carried!

My extra is a flower of Isoplexus canariensis, in the garden of our B&B in Ventnor.
