Loco heaven

What a great time I had again at Ferry Meadows Station, I have very often seen this area with all the old redundant engines and carriages and thought how great it would be to have a look around. Well to my delight you can look around and go in them , small groups of men where working on a few of the carriages and engines , they are restoring them to the glory they used to be . The workers are all train enthusiasts and are volunteers working for free. They have donation buckets for the visitors to help with the restorations . The parcel train carriages were just amazing with the old sacks and letters , I will have to visit again nearer Christmas as they want one of them to be finished to use in a display . Lots of extras and David said thank you for his stars on yesterday's blip .
