A girl with a plan

She'd tried to get up at 5.15 this morning. I said she needed to go back to sleep and she listened! She slept til 715. We got her dressed and fed, did a bit of music, cleaned up a flooded bathroom (gahhhh...) and made it to school in time!

She was really excited to arrive home to the letter officially offering her a place at Yorkshire Young Musicians. She liked that she had to sign her own name to the letter. She also liked her new dance tights that have arrived for her commercial class. She ran and changed into a leo and them straight away.

Tonight is Katie's "night off". We cycled home in glorious sunshine before undertaking the plan she'd come up with. It began with stretching and dancing for about an hour. It was followed by an hour on her clarinet. And finally she donned her jammies, snuggled with mama for pizza and a new movie that we'd been looking forward to arriving
