Orange

Isn't this an amazing colour and shape. This celosia cristata (cockscomb) is the tallest flower in my fortnightly bouquet, even after a week it is still looking fresh and alien. Is it wild enough for Wild Wednesday?

My day was filled with registering with a gp practice, a pharmacy, getting a dentist appointment and finding a repair man or woman for the dishwasher. Last night in the middle of a program the door of the dishwasher opened and fell down , luckily the water stopped spraying the moment the door opened, but it was a wet mess just the same. Whatever we tried the door didn't stay shut, so it's back to doing the dishes manually until we have a solution. Which seems to be getting a new dishwasher ....

Remember that tomorrow is the 100th Abstract Thursday with optional theme 'joy/celebration', and tag AT100. It may feel wrong and weird to think about festive things in these sad days, but life must go on , I guess.
