SHE'S FINE.

After Tigerlily tried to walk the tightrope bannister on the landing without a safely net last evening and fell down she is absolutely fine today. She is her usual mischievous lively self.

After she fell down yesterday I looked on the internet to see if there were any ideas on how to stop her going up on the bannister again. Best idea seemed to be to put double sided sellotape on it as cats don't like the sticky feel on their feet. While Neil and I were discussing this option Valentino decided to jump up on the bannister. Heck!. My heart was in my mouth at the sight of him tottering along it back and forwards. He was up there for a while and no amount of persuading would make him come down. Finally he jumped off and I quickly put some sellotape all over the bannister. He has been up again but he didn't like the stickiness and got down quickly. Tigerlily hasn't even tried to get up - hopefully she got such a shock yesterday that it has put her off.

Usual trip to Asda this morning. Been a rainy day today and none too warm. Got the central heating on this evening. Off to the Theatre Royal in Newcastle tomorrow to see Oliver.
