My spirits were really lifted today when Juliet and I went on a helicopter flight over London, that we had booked some time ago. I was very nervous beforehand, but once onboard the helicopter felt really safe, and the pilot talked us through everything, enabling me to really enjoy the 30 minute flight. The views on a beautiful sunny day were stunning, although getting decent photos was tricky, and I was keen to just enjoy the experience rather than get bogged down in the technicalities of photography so I only took a few. Here's a view of the Olympic Park as we headed back towards the airfield in Essex. It was an exhilarating experience, that I can't recommend highly enough.
