Matai red.

A deep crimson red,
Extraordinary colour,
Beneath Matai bark.


I had planned to post a wide angle shot from inside a lovely historic church our walking group visited today. However when  we later walked in  the bush I saw this sight and just had to blip the amazing deep red colour on the trunks of the native Matai trees.
