Booklover

Balboa, our traveling mascot, was very happy to find an excellent bookstore  close to our daughter's home here in San Diego, CA. I am a sucker for actual books, eschewing the electronic versions in favor of old fashioned ink and paper, so any time I can explore an actual brick and mortar store I am one happy guy. Bluestocking Books was in the midst of its 18th anniversary sale, so the titles I found were on sale. I was only limited by the room left in our suitcase, which unfortunately is not extensive after being in the United States for almost a month. I did manage to convince myself that I needed at least one new Bill Bryson and promised to return when I have larger luggage.
