Faded medicines

 In the waiting room of my doctor's medical practice group, there is a large cabinet displaying old-fashioned and archaic pills, potions and instruments.  I've been meaning to photograph it for a long time, and today I finally did it.  This is taken with the new camera, and clearly I have some learning to do.

I've been dealing with a lot of medical stuff lately, and it's really wearing, as well as worrying.  But it was a beautiful day today - bright sunshine and a high of 81 (too warm for me), a lovely day to be out in the shade or in an air-conditioned car.  A good day to look away from the news, so horrid this week, and just enjoy being alive.
