The Season Begins...

Sunshine blessed my first air show of the season. Commentating on the Stampe Formation Team and The Turbulent Display Team at Stow Maries Great War Aerodrome in Essex was a pleasant way to spend a sunny Sunday.

Wonderful to see the Hornet Moth (pictured on the ground here) display alongside a Blackburn B2 in a beautifully choreographed routine, also the Magister (pictured airborne) and static display of the BE2a. I even struck lucky with propeller swinging and no tricky starts. My only complaint...no ice cream van!
