I'm on Holiday!

Today was due to be my last working day before our hols but I was lucky enough to get cancelled yesterday and today. Such a great feeling (although still waiting for the big news so can't completely shut off).

Mr W's Daughter was kind enough to give us a voucher for Afternoon Tea for Christmas and we chose to have it just before we go away as the start of our Holiday. It was lovely. The scones were to die for!!! And we both sat watching a Woodpecker feeding from a bird table just outside the window.

We then got busy in the garden, me cleaning up the patio after the builders had cut some York Stone to lay some drainage ducts and Mr W tried hanging a  new gate but found the builders had set the post in slightly the wrong place!!! He's only just come in and its 8.30pm!!! Im wanting the garden to be nice for Daughter Number 2 while she house sits here as theres going to be a heatwave at the weekend - while we are playing on a Glacier!!!! Typical!
