Cinemascope!

This is an artwork constructed of cinema seats (beautiful sturdy wood and metal ones) located on a rocky outcrop high above Merano. The view is amazing, albeit a bit hazy today. I think this is due to the approaching cold front which is forecast to bring rain tomorrow along with an alarming drop in temperature.

Had our first (sub) Alpine walk today, but not before we had an altercation with a couple of Germanic geriatrics who walked straight to the front of the cable-care queue and insisted that they were in front of everyone else; which they were, in the sense that they had walked past everyone else and set up camp. This is a common failing among certain Germanics and is going to end one day with one of them being flattened by Mrs BrB.
