Welcome Home

This is our beloved onyx marble French mantel clock.  Back from the clock shop after having a new main spring and a new gong fitted.
I don't know much about it, except it belonged to Mrs MD's great aunt Beatrice.  It was a wedding present to her. She died over 50 years ago and was over 90 when she died.  This makes the clock comfortably over 100 years old.
I don't think it has any 'mega-value' - but we both love it and the sound it makes.  Nice to have it back again :-)
