Rocking Chair Project

I didn't take a before photo, always think of it 'After'!
You can see the colour that the whole thing was in the footstool, what a divil to sand, all those bars, nooks and crannies. We only gave it a light 'keying' sand as we are using spray primer to start with and then spray gloss to finish it off. Nearly finished the primer spraying so glad I thought to take a photo before all of the brown disappeared.
You can see the rocking mechanism on both the chair and the footstool, a lovely chair and it will be very comfortable when Marlane has done all the cushioning on the seat and stool.
It's for Joanne, our daughter in law, but don't tell her!
