The Birthday Girl

Not me thankfully, my sister, who turned 26 today :-)

A super busy but really nice day. I was up by 9am, but I should have got up earlier. I barely had time to sit and drink my tea before I had to get ready. We had to get Little B to the groomer's for 11am, plus I discovered a tyre puncture last night and my front tyre is almost flat, so I had to stop at the local tyre place.

We got ready quickly, and headed out. I drove slowly on purpose, fearing we might then be stranded if the tyre blew. We left B who was happy to see Olga who cuts his hair, and headed over. It's never only one is it? Predictably when I explained the situation, the man came and inspected all of them, and really he thought I needed 4 new tyres. I managed to settle for replacing just the front ones, at an eye-watering £170.... :-( We had to wait a while for it to be done, so we walked to the nearest cafe, and mum and I had a coffee and cake whilst we waited.
