I went to a photography club meeting on monday night. The guest speaker commented at one point it's not a bad thing if you don't have a formal education of a photographer. Because it may be easier to develop a personal style instead of reproducing something you've learned at school. Way or the other, at times I wish I could have studies the basics somewhere. Like today when watching the mist and the rising sun and figuring it way too difficult to capture it the way I wanted.
Nevertheless, it was wonderful to watch. If I've got something out of the daily blip habit, it's the gift to stop and admire. A small momentary daily downshifting.
Take care.
