In 2008, I learned even more about myself. I realized that I'm better than who I thought I was and that I'm better off now -- I have closed another chapter and moved to a new section of my life and I couldn't be happier.

I have an amazing best friend, Laura, who has truly been there for me always. If it weren't for her, my birthday wouldn't have been so memorable. I will never forget my 23rd birthday thanks to her and all those involved. This year was rough, but I've learned a lot.

Toward the end of 2008, my entire life was turned around in a completely surreal situation when I met a boy in Minnesota through this website. I never thought that something like this could happen to me, but I can say that if this is what true love is, then I'm glad it's finally come into my life. I have never been so intrigued by anyone or by the way they make me feel and Kevin has turned everything around. Ringing in the new year with him really ended 2008 on a high note and brought tons of hope for 2009. I anticipate this coming year and I'm excited to see where my life will head on this new road.
