A grand day out

Back to working in Dubai for the rest of the week. This is a view of the hotel atrium looking down from opposite the pool. The two red sofas are by Zaha Hadid and cost US$10,000 each - yes indeed!

As a treat one of my colleagues suggested a night out in Dubai. We sometimes go to the less salubrious joints in Abu Dhabi.

Alex somehow managed to scam two free meals with wine at Gary Rhode's restaurant. Very nice indeed. Afterwards we then went to the Buddha bar. Definitely the posher side of living in the Middle East
