Beano Betty

Betty is very pleased with the free Beano she got at school today, but not sure why they all got one. A marketing ploy from DC Thompson to boost sales?
So Floss had to go up into the loft of doom to get his old Beano annuals for her. Apparently they've been stored in a box for the past 16 years.
"Why 16 years?" I asked. "Because before I met you they were still on my bookshelf." Bless.
