Peony

My peony has a mass of buds waiting to open up and flower, in fact more buds than I have ever seen before.  The flowers are beautiful when they are open, but at this stage I think they look quite strange with all the different folds knotted tightly together as if they will never unravel.
I went to the cafe where I volunteer for a meeting today, along with some of the other volunteers, to discuss the issue of training.  The idea is that if we are given some specific training we can be more useful generally, either front of house or in the kitchen, so I am looking forward to that.
