Summer?

OK, it's not Summer yet. But today it started to feel as though it might not be too far away, and the forecast is for it to get quite hot by the end of the week. My next door neighbour even mowed his grass with his shirt off (not a pretty sight) but then he has just got back from a holiday in Las Vegas so probably wanted to relive the experience.

My Red Hot Poker is one of only two plants that survived the cull when I cleared a border earlier in the year; I thought it had quite a Mediterranean look against the blue sky.
