Gallery gals...

Up early and out to East Lothian to pick up the SBG for the day.

Back into town and over to the Dean Gallery to meet up with A, Kate, her Mum and daughter for a day of art.

The SBG got some great presents from Kate, and S seemed to like her belated birthday presents from us.

Iain opted to be on kid patrol outside while us lay-dees went inside to see the Joan Eardley exhibition (final day it was on). It was fantastic. I'd only ever really seen her Glasgow kids pieces, but fell in love with her paintings of Catterline in the NE of Scotland.

While Iain was outside, Scottish actor Clive Russell and his companion stopped and took some photos of him and the kids, as they thought they all looked so sweet (photos for iain, not for them).

The kids enjoyed running around outside, and continued when we sat outside at Modern One for some lunch.

A great day spent with great friends.
