Poppies by a stream as I walked up to Rydal Cave early this morning. 

A heron was standing on a rock in the middle of the River Rothay, Mr and Mrs Canada Goose were on Rydal Water with 10 goslings, and the Mallards were trying to keep their 6 ducklings together. I had a 15mm lens on the camera so no chance of photographing any of them.
