Nearly Finished

Walking the penultimate stage of the High Weald Landscape Trail. Staying overnight tonight in Rye. A bright day walking south into the sun with a brisk headwind taking the edge off the temperatures. One of the many super picnic spots en route (see extra) where we ate our scotch eggs while being entertained by a Spitfire doing aerobatics in the distance.

Just before the finish I spotted this cheerful enthusiast restoring his original 1964 Fiat 500. It's nearly finished, he stated optimistically. Well, he is doing a very thorough job although I reckon there is still a way to go. But it will be a beaut. when its done. And he was very obliging letting me snap him at work.
