Dual Blip

Crossed the international date line, meaning technically I should get two September 11s. This is the latter one, shot as soon as I got off the plane at Kona Airport on Hawaii's Big Island. The airport is build on "relatively recent lava flow" which means lava flow for a couple of hundred years ago. While this picture doesn't show much, for me, coming from ultra-crowded Tokyo, it was a shock to take in the pure vastness.
