Pomengranate

Highly irregular, of course, to have a #leithwalkshop on a weekend day. However, not many other opportunities presented themselves today.

Rather a lazy day. A little bit more sorting out of the flat, here and there (and another piece of decluttering achieved via freecycle, this time of the balcony). We walked up to the top of Broughton Street to meet GK and LJ for lunch. They'd been ice-climbing in Glasgow yesterday, as a treat for GK's birthday. Looked (on Facebook) and sounded fun, but exhausting. We chatted about this and that, and politics, and knee replacements. Good to catch up. I had to dip out of our proposed last meeting which would have been dinner at the Ship on the Shore.

We came back by bus, which meant wandering down Leith Walk to the Elm Row bus stop, enabling me to spot a potential blip. Of course, I know that theoretically this bit of the Walk is called Antigua Street. Whatever....
