Barrel Jellyfish

This morning we visited Pembroke Castle birthplace of Henry VII. It is an impressive castle and well preserved despite the attempts of Oliver Cromwell to destroy its power. We then enjoyed a walk around the Mill ponds which provides a great habitat for nesting Swans.

By this stage the sun was shining and we continued onto Tenby. Following a wander round the town we took Jet for a run on the beach. Before we came Richard had read about swarms of Barrel Jellyfish washed up on the beaches of West Wales. We did not expect to see any but today there were more on the beach.

Unfortunately no sign of the Leatherback Sea Turtles they are meant to attract.
