TJ's brother M, his partner A and her father T paid us a visit for the weekend, their first trip to Scotland and, of course, it rained!  Not just a gentle spring shower, but a downpour of spectacular proportions which left roads awash in minutes and scenery obscured by low cloud.  

Nothing daunted, we continued on to Crieff where I had booked a tour of the Famous Grouse Distillery at Glenturret, the perfect antidote to the awful weather:-) We all enjoyed the tour and the tasting and even better, being indoors in the warm and dry buildings!  

An optional walk to The Hermitage near Dunkeld was put on hold, in the hope that Sunday's weather might be better.  In the evening, we all went out to dinner in our favourite fish restaurant in Blairgowrie and our visitors were extremely impressed by the wonderful food we all had.

A most enjoyable start to their weekend (with the possible exception of that downpour!)
