The Black Boy Fountain

I was down in Stirling for the weekend visiting my mum and decided to walk into town to meet up with Colin and my brother, who, it being Friday evening, were already in the pub. My walk took me passed this famous Stirling landmark, which was erected in 1849 to commemorate the dead from the great plague, and was refurbished in 1977 and then again last year. It always reminds me of my teenage years hanging about the bus stop at the Allan Park before going to the pictures with my then boy friend
