The Chapel, Stonor Park

Visited Stonor Park for the first time today.  Lovely grounds and gardens and a wonderful chapel.

Lord Runcie said of it: "Here in this chapel we are confronted by an awesome continuity of human experience ...... on this rock of one family's enduring faith in good times and in bad has indeed been built a church".

I will think we will be back again before long.  The drive to it is a joy of anticipation with red kites swooping low.
