Poor Man's Orchid

A dazzling display of these Schizanthus plants I found at Audley End Mansion.  I was all set for a good photographic session with my Nikon camera only to find when I got there that  the battery was still at home in the charger! Fortunately I had the point and shoot and iPhone on hand, but I was annoyed with myself.
