Seven hills Monastery

This beautiful building is at an old monastery site in the ClareValley, north of Adelaide. But this is me, and even though it's Sunday, I'm not one for church!

So the real reason we were there is wine! The Clare Valley is one of South Australia's many wine regions, and they were having a gourmet weekend at many of the vineyard cellar doors.

This monastery site is now a vineyard and a Jesuit retreat, we stopped here for a glass of wine, some lunch and a seat in a field listening to live music- just lovely!
