Tumultuous Times

A sunny day turned into a turbulent stormy late afternoon with rain storms over Mt. Adams and the Goat Rocks. The storm evaporated and gave way to a nearly cloud free sunset, as shown in the extra.

My driving days have been filled with the unfolding of a fascinating novel, A Tale for the Time Being, by Ruth Ozeki. 

The core themes of the story echo back and forth through time; reaching forward yet also pulling the reader back in time. I found it engrossing, sometimes humorous and occasionally a bit harrowing. It is read by Ozeki and she does an excellent job of bringing the story to life.
