Rainy day project

I collected these stones last year in Majorca planning to make some pebble art. Today the rain didn't stop so I finally got round to it. The first time I used gorilla glue which oozed everywhere and dried all foamy and looked terrible. So I had prise all the stones off the paper and put them to soak in nail varnish remover and then sand them all off. Got it all over my fingers too. This is the second attempt with some epoxy. I have a box frame to put it in when it's dry.

The vet was called out to the yard this morning to attend a horse that had been kicked in the field so I got him to take a quick look at Lime. He said definitely not lame and said he could go out. So I put up a larger pen for him. Got caught in a torrential downpour.

Lots of stuff to sort this arvo - horse insurance etc. Also painted my new side table for the front room and put together Eva's new dolls house bookcase. Needs customising! That's tomorrow's job. Feels wierd not having to go back down to Lime. Hope he's ok!!
