Oh, Here I Am!

I haven't been to the lake in a while, so I had a wander up there to see what was going on. I knew there were a LOT of Canada geese families by what I had to walk through.

A new family of mallard ducks paraded in front of me, a killdeer was posing on a rock and then I saw what I came for. There were two and they were flying in opposite directions. 

It was too early in the day for them to be settled. I got a few shots and hoped they would be decent when I loaded them on the computer.

My stalking skills have gotten a bit rusty!

I am grateful this black crowned night heron didn't disappoint me today.
