Try, try and try again

My in-laws are related, somewhat indirectly, to Robert the Bruce whose motto may be theirs but certainly isn't mine, more's the pity.
On Sunday we were lucky enough to get tickets for the Closing Ceremony of the Paralympics and afterwards asked to complete a questionnaire where one of the questions asked was describe your experience in 3 words. The first two were easy but for the third I put 'humble' whereas I really meant 'how pathetic am I?'
Unlike Robert the Bruce I give up too easily and having posted a few entries then encountered a tiny technical hitch I gave up.
Technical hitches are absolutely nothing in the grand scale of things so I went into the garden for inspiration and came across a spider's web. Was that a message or what?!
It may not be a brilliant picture but it is, at least, a start.
