Purple flowers

I saw a pair of Collared Doves when I was walking to the bus stop to go to work this morning but I only managed to get a blurry photo of one of them before they flew off.

Work was very busy again but there was also a very enjoyable element today as it was our boss' partner's birthday and we were all treated to a piece of lovely birthday cake.

On the way home after work I did some shopping and spotted this plant with lovely purple flowers (I think it's possibly a Campanula) growing in front of someone's house when I was walking to the bus stop.
