Apparition

Well not quite, this is Creake Abbey (1231AD), north Norfolk which I have visited before, the pictures though have always had a slightly static and boring quality. I was mulling over how I could do something different and I was no longer alone, a car arrived and into the grounds came this lady with her long flowing white dress and black hair.

I don't know who she is, she was very preoccupied and for about 30 minutes sat on the stonework passing her rosary through her fingers. Then she left, the only link with this century was the sound of her car door, the starting engine and tyres on the gravel.
