Siskin Saturday!

I was looking out the window and I saw this wee beauty. I went to take his photo, as you do, but he didn't fly away, just hopped a bit.
Obviously a young bird just left the nest and at that very vulnerable stage. He could fly a bit but as we now have a cat living next door, I would have to do something as he was very easy prey.
I caught him very easily and moved him to a tree not too far away so that his parents could still look out for him.
He did manage to fly to a higher branch.
I hope he survives.
