Living in hope

We took Mish for a walk round the Lake today, and afterwards into the RSL Walk at Cherry Tree Plantation.  She had the best time.

We are living in hope much the same as these ducks are hoping for a free feed.  The ducks didn't get anything, and we won't get very far either.  We're just enjoying the temporary remission that the steroid treatment is giving Mish. 

Sadly, she is not a good candidate for chemotherapy (even though it's covered by her insurance); there's only a 50/50 chance it would work, and she'd had to have anaesthetic each time it was administered.  Her little veins are very hard to find, and I just couldn't put her through all that.  It wouldn't be right.

So the plan is to take each day as it comes; take lots of pictures, and some video - just for the memories.
