Steroids: what a blessing

I saw a doctor again yesterday before the concert because I just wasn't getting well. He found the sinuses are infected, but he wants to run a culture to see exactly what bacteria we are dealing with, and he kindly prescribed steroids for twelve days, and we shall see, on Monday when the test results come in, if antibiotic is necessary. Steroids are GLORIOUS. I love the way I'm feeling. I was able to attend the concert last night, and today Sue and I took a lovely long amble through a cemetery on a blue-sky balmy day. It was my first walk in ages, and I even felt like washing my car when we got back. My eyes were drawn to the light bathing lichen on this stone.
