Copper Pigs

When I read the Falco and Caesar books there was often reference to iron or copper pigs... Well I have finally seen some.
The liquid metal was poured into pigs stomachs as moulds then left to cool. The resultant ingots were called pigs and here are some Roman copper pigs from Crete. I'm happy.
