Mystery flowers

So here are the mystery flowers from yesterday, snapped in the cheerful morning light. I very much enjoyed having a quiet day at home (primarily - we did pop out this afternoon to pick up a few bits and pieces at Maplins and Homebase). First one for ages. And I made great progress on a number of research related tasks, in particular checking the proofs of several pieces of writing.

We've finally got the TV working again, having changed its position in the room for the first time in 12 years. This necessitated getting hold of an aerial extension, which is why we were at Maplins. Now we're watching some slightly random Pro12 rugby on the BBC sport app. It's a pleasure finally to have a quiet night in.
